Faculty Positions
Chief, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
Weill Cornell Medical College and the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center have initiated a national search for the position of Chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. The Division currently has strong patient care, and clinical and basic research programs in areas including diabetes, reproductive endocrinology, thyroid disorders, and metabolic bone disease. The current Division Chief is the Principal Investigator of a recently funded, Weill Cornell-based NIH Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA). The Division's fellowship program in endocrinology was fully reaccredited this year by the RRC of the ACGME.
The new Division Chief will have the opportunity to build substantively on a longstanding tradition of innovative research in endocrinology. Concurrently, Weill Cornell Medical College is engaged in the strategic development of a center of excellence in diabetes and obesity research, an area that it has identified as a top priority for growth. Resources and space will be available for the recruitment of new faculty and development of new programs. For the Division Chief position we are seeking a recognized physician-investigator. Chief, Division of Internal Medicine
The Department of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and NewYork Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan seeks an outstanding physician leader to oversee its Division of General Internal Medicine. Division members include exceptional senior and junior faculty who play major roles in the department’s clinical, teaching and research endeavors. Experience in ambulatory care administration and teaching essential to direct a large, sophisticated faculty practice with > 70,000 annual patient visits and 140 medical residents. Excellent opportunities to collaborate with other Weill Cornell divisions and departments in clinical and evaluative science research.
